A Roaring Burns Night at St George’s Hall

On Saturday 27th January, Hinton locals came out in force to support the inaugural village Burns night event, raising money for St George’s Hall.

Guests enjoyed a three course traditional supper of ‘Scots Rabbit’ to start, Haggis neeps and tatties and finished with a magnificent cranachan raspberry trifle. A kind local resident addressed the haggis, tots of whisky were enjoyed and the evening finished with a traditional Ceilidh which produced some highly energetic moves on the dancefloor. A great evening was had by all!
