Who Are We?

St George's Hall offers a flexible space suiting an array of needs, ranging from small, informal groups up to large, multifaceted events. The hall has previously hosted business meetings, weddings, village fetes, shopping events and plenty of parties! There are a number of regular hirers who use the facilities for an array of activities including football and cricket teams.

Main Hall

The main hall measures 12m x 9m and features a 7m x 4m stage, kitchen hatch and double doors leading through to the conservatory and bar area. The main hall alone has a capacity of 70 for banquet style events, 100 theatre style and 150 standing. There are 15 x 2m trestle tables and 100 chairs free to use for all hirers. An AV set up featuring a large screen, projector, speakers and 2 x microphones is available for an additional charge.

Bar Area and Conservatory

The bar and conservatory measure 8m x 3m and features a purpose built bar area with fridge, bar top and back bar storage. The Conservatory provides a lovely light filled, airy room, perfect for smaller groups looking for a more intimate space. Double doors leading into the main hall mean the conservatory can also be used as additional seating (up to 24 banquet style), for larger events.

Kitchen

The kitchen is located off the main hall and features a separate entrance with foyer, large serving hatch, range cooker with 6 stoves, microwave, fridge, hot water urn, sink and plenty of storage. 50 x mugs, plates and cutlery is available for use along with serving platters and an array of other crockery.
