On Friday 9th February, members and their friends and families came together to enjoy the Hinton St George and District Gardening Club Annual Quiz!
The horticulturally themed quiz had many scratching their heads, with rounds such as guess the spice, Latin plant names and famous characters with garden themed names (Basil Fawlty, Hyacinth Bouquet and Lily Savage to name a few!). The Somerset Catch provided a delicious fish and chip supper at half time and the bar proved popular throughout the evening. The newly revamped hall made for a fantastic venue and the Garden Club look forward to hosting their annual quiz again next year.
